There are plenty of toys to play with for the first hour, refreshment for adults and a craft activity such as play dough. We then come together for songs and perhaps a story followed by refreshments for the children. There is no official charge, but we are happy to receive donations.
The Sunday morning programme is now much more action-packed with songs, quizzes, puzzles, varied activities, bible stories and relevant teaching to the age of each child who attends. We believe the Bible is God's word and has a huge amount of practical, relevant, moral teaching for today, as well as containing God's message of personal salvation and how we can know him.
Throughout the pandemic we have been delivering "Messy Church in a Bag" on a monthly basis to our families. These have contained craft activities, ingredients for recipes to try, science experiments and a Bible story with questions to answer. We are aiming to restart in person when practical on the usual half termly basis. Should we be unable to meet at church there will be another set of bags at the end of October. Keep an ear open at church or your eye on the website for updates.
During the Covid pandemic, a small group of ladies have been meeting fortnightly on Zoom on Monday evenings from 8pm to study the Bible together. It is intended to continue this on Zoom for the time being and if you would like to join them, details are shown in the weekly bulletin.
Thinking Through Theology is a men's group that meets every two weeks on Zoom. We explore together a wide range of topics covering Biblical doctrine, discipleship, and the social and moral concerns of the day. If you would like to discuss about joining up please contact Pastor Peter who will be delighted to hear from you.
